Our Lord Dean of Guild, Euan Begg, has been installed as Lord President of a national body representing similar bodies from across the country.
Euan (pictured left) will head-up the Court of Deans of Scotland, with the Fair City hosting the annual meeting next year.
He took over the reins from Alan Robertson, Master and Lord Dean of the Royal Merchants Company of the City of Edinburgh at a ceremony held at Merchants Hall in the capital, attended by Guildry representatives drawn from all over Scotland and Berwick-Upon-Tweed.
