Our latest member to celebrate 75 years membership is John Wells (89). He has taken an active role in the Guildry over the years as both an ale taster and meal searcher.
To celebrate this milestone, John received a Guildry certificate from the Lord Dean, Euan Begg, along with a hamper full of Perthshire products from local delicatessen, Provender Brown.
John’s son, David, has been a member of the Guildry for 55 years, his daughter, Elaine, is serving on the committee, and his grandson and great grandsons, who live in Australia, are also members.
Other members who have received this award are: Dr James MacGregor, Stan Carrie, Gordon Galletly, Sandy Galletly, Michael Thomson and David Thomson.
